How to Copy Files or Directories by Using "rsync" with Excluding Particular Multiple Files or Folders

$ sudo rsync -av --progress --exclude="filetobeexcluded" --exclude="foldertobeexcluded" /sourcedir /destinationdir

I like cp -r command but this rsync is awesome too!
